The Teaching and Learning Development Section is in charge of instructional innovation, student learning assistance and teaching technology support.

In terms of instructional innovation, we are responsible for promoting teachers’ professional development, teaching evaluation and follow-up, providing teaching resources, and supporting faculty promotion in terms of teaching practice. We conduct training courses for new faculty members to adapt to the campus by organizing various workshops. We are also responsible for the selection of teachers with excellent teaching performance, i.e., the teaching excellence awards, that encourages teachers to implement creativity in designing and teaching courses.

On the aspect of student learning assistance, we provide teaching assistants for improving the learning effectiveness of students while enhancing students’ autonomous learning ability. Furthermore, students who has excellent performance in the semester can win his/her award of Outstanding Achievement in Coursework.

Regarding teaching technology, we aim to improve the effectiveness and academic performance through maintaining the E-Learning platform and virtual studio that provide high-quality resources and a e-learning environment for both teachers and students, building access to new technology in this ever-changing world.
